Booking & Cancellations Policy

Bookings

Please note that all bookings outwith of schools and nurseries will require a deposit to secure your chosen date. Failure to pay this may result in your preferred date being booked by someone else, as we will not hold this until your deposit is received. Full details will be provided at time of booking.

For school and nursery bookings, payment must be received either via cheque or cash transfer by the day of your visit. We regret that in general we cannot accept System Payments - these will need approval on a case by case basis, and will likely require payment at least one month in advance.

Wee Storybox reserve the right to amend our storytelling session set up - in some instances and depending on venues this may require the absence of instruments, props, sound or lighting equipment.


Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel any of our sessions at any time up to and including the date the event starts. Should this occur we will endeavour to give you at least seven days notice but cannot always guarantee this. We will always try to offer an alternative or full refund of any fees or deposits paid, however we cannot be held liable for cancellation costs.

In the event of one of our sessions or character appearances being cancelled within 24 hours, Wee Storybox reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of your full booking fee. This is in addition to any deposit that has already been paid
